Uniform And Footwear

The Club uniform consists of a competition singlet or crop top with black shorts. The uniform is worn at all levels of competition.

For LANSW events, the current registration number (bib) must be sewn or pinned to the front of the singlet or crop top. The registration number is placed in the centre of the singlet/crop top (with the full red border showing), age patch on the front top left handside and sponsor patch on the top righthand side. For crop tops, the age patch can be placed on the shorts. Click here for the LANSW Uniform Placement of Patches.

Shoes are compulsory. We compete on a sportsfield that is open to the public. We use our best endavours to ensure that items of rubbish are removed from the competition area during set up on a Saturday morning.

Spiked shoes are permitted to be used by the U11 and older age groups in races run entirely in lanes and in long jump, triple jump and high jump. Spikes must not be worn by any athlete competing in the Tiny Tots to U10 age groups, nor by any competitor in events which are not run in lanes, ie pack starts.

The following items can be purchased on Registration Pick Up Day or prior to Saturday competition in the Club room:
- Competition singlet  $25 (compulsory uniform)
- Competition crop top $35
- Cap $15
- Visor $15

The Athlete's Foot Burwood will be selling running shoes and spikes at the Registration Pick Up Day and Junior Intro Day. The Athlete's Foot Burwood is a proud sponsor of Balmain Little Athletics donating a 5% rebate to the club for all shoe purchases made by BLAC members.
