Balmain Athletics Club recognises that significant additional costs may be incurred to enable athletes to compete at State or National representative level, including the cost of travel (State/International), team levy payments and the purchase of compulsory uniforms.

To help families meet these additional costs, the Committee has approved the provision of a single payment once a season up to 10% of the athlete's expenses, up to a maximum of $500 per athlete, for any event where the athlete has been selected to represent NSW or Australia including (but not limited to):

1. the Australian Little Athletics Championships, or
2. the U15 Australian Little Athletics Multi-Event Championships.

All applications for Athlete Assistance must be made in writing to the Championship Officer for consideration via info@balmainlac.org.au.
