During the Winter season LANSW and Athletics NSW (ANSW) offer events for athletes to compete in Cross Country running, Race Walks and Track & Field events. See below for 2023 Winter Season information (in event date order).
For the first time, LANSW has introduced a Winter Track series for athletes in the U8 to U17 age groups consisting of three meets. Events include 100m, 200m, 400m, 700/800m, Discus, Shot Put, Long Jump. Click here for more information.
Meet #1 was held on Saturday 10 June at the Warm Up Track, Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
Meet #2 will be on Tuesday 4 July at Harold Corr Oval, Werrington - register here. Entries close Thursday 29 June at 11.59pm. Balmain is currently top of the Leaderboard for this Series!

The second LANSW State Primary Schools Carnival for athletes in the U7 to U13s (attending Primary School) is on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August 2023 at Campbelltown Athletics Centre. Click here for more information.
Uniform: Balmain athletics competition singlet or crop top with black shorts or tights must be worn. Athletics NSW events will issue event Bib numbers. For LANSW events, your 2022/23 registration number, age patch and Coles patch must be displayed.
